Said al Ghadimi: Translator
Al Ghanimi, Said

Said Al Ghanimi was born in in 1958. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Arabic-English translation from ’s Mosul University , as well as a graduate degree in Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Curtin University in Washington.

He has published over 40 titles, including books and translations in countries that include, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, and the Emirates. He has written and translated numerous essays on linguistics and literary criticism, as well as five books for Kalima, an affiliate of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage.

 

 

 

Previously, he was the editor of Foreign Culture, a magazine published by the Ministry of Culture in Baghdad . He has also taught English, literature and linguistics at the Libyan Ministry of Education’s institute for training teachers. Currently, he lives in .

Said al Ghadimi will take part in 'Business and balance: copyright, authors, publisher and translators'.
