Alicia Wise is Chief Executive of the Publishers Licensing Society (PLS) and Digital Consultant to The Publishers Association (PA).  PLS is the not-for-profit organisation owned by ALPSP, the PA, and the PPA that oversees collective licensing arrangements for UK publishers.  PLS distributes approximately £25m per annum in copyright royalties to publishers.
