Andrew Nurnberg has spent his entire professional career in publishing, specializing in the international representation of authors. He founded Andrew Nurnberg Associates (ANAI) in
London
in 1977. The company opened its first overseas office in Moscow in 1993, pioneering the independent representation of authors’ rights in . ANAI also currently works in Beijing, Budapest, Prague, Riga, Sofia, Taipei and
Warsaw
, representing authors in the fields of literary and commercial fiction, general non-fiction and children’s literature. Several of its authors have received major prizes, including the Swedish Nobel and the French Goncourt. ANAI is also proud to represent the first two winners of the Arab Man Booker Prize, Bahaa Taher and Yussuf Ziedan.
Andrew is passionate about introducing and overseeing the implementation of effective contractual arrangements for the benefit of copyright holders throughout the world. As traditional norms and boundaries are re-shaped by new technologies and freer movement of goods, his work continues to face exciting challenges.
